QAI ANNOUCES LUMINATOR AUTHORIZED REPAIR FACILITY

Quality Aviation Instruments, Inc. (QAI) and Luminator Aerospace recently  announced from Helitech 2015 in London the  authorization of QAI as a component repair facility for Luminator Aerospace.  The agreement covers component repairs of Lighting Systems manufactured by Luminator Aerospace.

“QAI has a long and successful history of  Search Light and Lighting systems repairs and working with an reputable manufacture like Luminator Aerospace is an excellent fit. ” said QAI president Robert Sieber.  “QAI has been sending technicians to Luminator Aerospace for factory training and this next step will help QAI further expand this relationship. ”

Luminator Aerospace is a supplier for Fixed and Rotary wing aircraft ranging from Airlines to Military aircraft and is located in Plano, TX.

QAI/GULF RECEIVES FAA APPROVAL FOR STARTER GENERATOR FACILITY IN DOHA QATAR

Quality Aviation Instruments, Inc. (QAI) and Gulf Helicopters, Inc. (GHC) announced approval by the FAA for the Starter Generator Facility in Doha QATAR.

“This is an excellent cost and time savings for our customers in the Middle East and Asia.” said QAI president Robert Sieber.  “This new facility will enable us to expedite service, reduce downtime, and reduce costs for our customers. GHC is known for their attention to safety, state of the art facility and fleet of aircraft. GHC has an impeccable reputation that spans more than 40 years. We are excited to be expanding our capabilities at  the new facility. ”

The repair shops are both  FAA and EASA .  The new facility has capability on component repairs for AgustaWestland ,along with Bell, Eurocopter, and Agusta medium and light platforms.

QAI will be adding Lighting systems to the capabilities by the end of 2015.

Quality Aviation Instruments, Inc. Awarded Contract with United States Coast Guard to Repair HH-65 Hover Lights.

(Pittsburgh, Pa., March 5, 2011)  Quality Aviation Instruments, Inc. (QAI) received notification recently that they were awarded a five-year contract by the United States Coast Guard to repair new and older generation hover lights.

“We are thrilled to be awarded this contract,” said President of QAI Robert Sieber.  “For 14 years we have been providing quality support to both the rotorcraft and air transport industries.  It is a great honor for our company to support the aircraft that are so important to our nation’s security.  Everyday the Coast Guard protects our nation.  In some small part this contract allows us to also contribute to that daily mission.”

The company was awarded the contract at the end of 2010.   Initial stages of the work have already begun.  QAI will repair new infrared and older generation hover lights.

QAI is a FAA part 145-repair station and is EASA certified.   QAI service centers offer service in instrumentation, avionics, and accessories.
